CONCORD, N.H. (WCAX) - New developments in the death of a 5-year-old girl from New Hampshire.
Harmony Montgomery’s mother filed a wrongful death lawsuit against her father, and killer.
Adam Montgomery was convicted of second-degree murder in 2024 and sentenced to 45 years behind bars.
Harmony’s remains have still not been found, but a judge declared her legally dead last year.
Now, court paperwork shows Crystal Sorey is seeking compensation for Harmony’s death.
The lawsuit, filed on Monday, claims that Harmony endured “breathtaking abuse and neglect by her father”, leading to her death.
Sorey also filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the state of New Hampshire.
