CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - Showers and storms were possible on Friday in the Charlotte region before calmer conditions were expected to settle in this weekend .
Of all the days this week, storm chances were the highest for the Charlotte Metro on Friday, Aug. 1. Thunderstorms could develop Friday afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches the area.
