Good morning Mid-Missouri and happy Thursday! We are starting off the morning on the warm side in the lower 70s. Jackets will be able to be skipped today, but umbrellas might be wanted.

Thursday: Temperatures will be on the rise today as we get into the lower 90s. High pressure will bring the heat and humidity with feels-like temperatures in the upper 90s this afternoon. A few pop up showers and thunderstorms will be riding the edge of this pressure system as it builds into mid-MO. While nothing crazy is expected, you may want that umbrella for the first day of the Missouri State Fair.
