CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - A stolen vehicle belonging to a Charlotte -based worship leader was recovered on Thursday afternoon in east Charlotte, according to Charlotte police.

Police said on Thursday, Aug. 7, that they had recovered a blue 2016 Kia Soul that belonged to Molly Olson.

Olson had her vehicle stolen sometime late July 24 or early July 25 from an apartment complex off McClintock Road in Plaza Midwood in east Charlotte.

Police said that the vehicle, which had damage on it, was found abandoned in a parking lot of an apartment complex.

Detective Jacqueline Clyburn said they have not identified the suspects and are urging people to contact Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
