ZACHARY, La. (Louisiana First) — Lane Regional Medical Center marked a major milestone in local healthcare with the opening of its brand-new, four-story patient tower, a $90 million expansion designed to broaden services and strengthen access to quality care in the region.
The state-of-the-art facility, located in the heart of Zachary, will house advanced surgical suites, including new robotic technology such as the “striker” robot and, eventually, the da Vinci surgical system. Hospital leaders say these additions will allow for more complex procedures and expanded treatment options close to home.
What began in the 1960s with just three physicians has grown into a trusted healthcare hub for North Baton Rouge and surrounding rural communities.
“With this expansion, we can offer even more
