MANOA, Hawaii (Island News) -- A sexual assault suspect is wanted after a groping incident occurred at the University of Hawaii at Manoa on Monday.

The alleged sexual assault happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. near the UH Manoa Lower Campus entrance, which was then reported to the UH Department of Public Safety (DPS).

A UH Alumni said an unknown man was following her as she walked on Waialae Avenue. As the victim approached the Lower Campus entrance near Waialae Avenue and Kalele Road, he sped up and grabbed her butt.

The suspect turned and walked away after he groped her.

The suspect is described as a man who’s approximately 30 years old, 5-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has dark brown hair, brown eyes and is a mixed Polynesian. At the time of the incident, he was wear
