KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The flood risk is over. It will remain mostly cloudy this evening into tonight with a passing shower or storm still possible. Fog will develop and could be thick in rain-soaked areas by morning. Lows will be in the low 70s with a light wind.

THURSDAY: More clouds with a little sun here or there with highs back in the mid to upper 80s. A stray afternoon storm can’t be ruled out. Winds will be west at 5-10 mph.

FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy in the morning, then partly cloudy, hot and humid in the afternoon. Highs will be around 90. Rain chance is only 20% for a stray shower or storm.

WEEKEND: Highs will reach the upper 80s to low 90s both days with a mix of sun and clouds. It will be hot and steamy. Rain chance each afternoon is only 10-20%. Most areas will be dry.
