KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - A Kearney man is in jail charged with three serious drug crimes.
Jeremy Carman, 47, is charged with three counts of felony meth distribution more than 10 grams. He’s scheduled for an evidence hearing Aug. 28 and is being held in the Buffalo Count Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
The court records with details of the investigation were sealed by a Buffalo County Judge. But the charging documents accuse Carman of selling meth on three separate occasions last summer, July 22 and 29 and Aug. 5. In each case in an amount more than 10 grams.
Court records also indicate he was arrested by Buffalo County Sheriff’s deputies last week.
The max penalty for a conviction on this level of drug offense is 50 years in prison.
