CLEVELAND — Isaiah Bond, a rookie wide receiver who went undrafted after being arrested for sexual assault, says he is joining the Cleveland Browns after a grand jury declined to file charges.

The former University of Texas wideout posted a statement on X on Thursday expressing gratitude to the Browns for the opportunity to continue his NFL career. The team has not yet confirmed his signing.

Bond's statement came after reported that Collin County (Texas) District Attorney Greg Willis announced that the sexual assault case against Bond was no-billed, and he faces no further criminal charges.

"First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Cleveland Browns for believing in me and allowing me the opportunity to continue my career in the NFL," wrote Bond.
