BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol came close to breaking its monthly revenue record in July.

On Friday, the Virginia Lottery released its monthly casino activity report, showing the Bristol casino's total adjusted gross revenue (AGR) for July 2025 was $22,905,536.

That figure is just shy of May 2025, when the casino set its AGR record with just over $23 million.

The bulk of July's revenue came from slot machines, which made up $18.6 million of the AGR. Table games accounted for the remaining $4.26 million.

The Regional Improvement Commission (RIC) fund, which is funded by casino revenue, received $1,374,332. The RIC benefits 12 Southwest Virginia counties and the cities of Bristol and Norton by providing capital for public safety, transportation and education.
