LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Temps will climb into that typical August feel in our afternoon, with some folks tracking isolated rain chances.

Temps will reach the low 90s once again for our day today, with highs hitting around 3-4 pm. Our heat index values - or what it feels like - will be a bit toastier, reaching the mid-90s in the afternoon as well.

Isolated showers will show up with some stronger wind gusts on Sunday, as a system pushes in from the northwest. Rain chances are still very disorganized across the board, but those isolated storms can pack a punch. Keep your umbrella close as you head into the afternoon through dinnertime.
