PRINCETON, Ind. (WFIE) - The summer heat has been rough, but practice must go on for several sports teams and marching bands.
The Marching Tigers in Princeton are just one of the area bands that have been practicing in the hot sun.
Firefighters in Princeton decided to help them cool down after they practiced all day Saturday.
They shared photos of a waterfall they let the band members play around in and have some fun.
The heat index on Saturday was as high as 105.
Sunday, the heat index is ranging between 105-110.
