Perth County OPP are investigating allegations that sexual acts were performed and recorded during a charity golf tournament at the Mitchell Golf and Country Club earlier this month.

The Aug. 2 tournament, hosted by Poppa Pie’s Dogs, was organized as a fundraiser by the former Stratford Fighting Irish owner and coach Jamie Petrie.

Police also said videos of “incidents” at the event in the community 20 kilometres northwest of Stratford have been circulating on social media.

“Investigators are aware that information and videos of this event have been circulating, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Perth County OPP crime unit at 1-888-310-1122,” said Const. Evan Polini, the detachment’s community engagement officer.
