A Tragically Hip tribute at Sons of Kent Brewing Company in Chatham raised $6,626 for the Downie Wenjack Fund.

Since 2024, the brewery has collected about $12,500 for the fund and created a Downie Wenjack pilsner beer, which quickly sold out both years.

This year’s event brought about 900 people together to celebrate the music of The Tragically Hip through the Grace2 Band.

The Downie Wenjack Fund is a charitable organization dedicated to building cultural understanding and creating a path toward reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.
