GREENVILLE, S.C. (WSPA) - The Greenville Police Department reported that one person shot himself during a chase from a bank in Greenville.

Officers were called out to the Bank of Travelers Rest on Verdae Boulevard regarding a fraud. Upon arrival, the subject was confronted and allegedly ran on foot.

Officers said they gave chase to the suspect, who then reportedly pulled out a gun and shot himself.

The identity of the suspect has not yet been released.
