WEATHER STORY: A cold front cut across the Northland Friday night and that will drop temperatures to cooler than normal levels for a few days. Behind that front is an upper level trough of lower air pressure. Those aren’t as potent for rain making as a mature low pressure system so we just have a shot at a few showers both Saturday and Sunday. Come Monday, a big high will clear the sky and keep us dry until next Saturday. Normals this week: high 71 and low 51.

WEEKEND AT A GLANCE: Minnesota - 20% shower chance with highs near 65 and wind NW 10-20 mph. Wisconsin - 30% shower chance with highs near 67 and winds NW 10-20 mph. Michigan - 40% rain chance with highs near 60 and winds NW 5-15 mph.

SATURDAY: The sky will be partly cloudy and there will be a 20% chance for light show
