WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WFIE) - The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash Sunday morning on I-69.

A sergeant with the Sheriff’s Office says an iPhone crash detection alerted dispatch to an accident near the Covert Avenue/State Road 662 exit at 3:18 a.m.

Deputies on scene say the accident involved one vehicle, but multiple people were injured.

At least two medic units were on scene, and an air evac was called.

Northbound I-69 was shut down for over an hour while crews were on the scene.

The Sheriff’s Department says their drone unit was also called out.
