Chad Stewart, a deer biologist with the Michigan DNR , will lead a seminar Sept. 23 informing and connecting residents with local outdoor recreational opportunities.
The event is scheduled to run 6:30-8 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 421 E. Bridge St. in Portland, according to a community announcement.
Stewart will be joined by Tom Huggler, a local outdoors writer. The seminar is part of the monthly Nature Therapy Program, co-sponsored by Portland Parks and Recreation and First Congregational Church.
Registration isn't required, but is encouraged for planning purposes.
