MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - City Auto Mitsubishi is partnering with Mitsubishi Motors North America to donate two new vehicles to Rutherford County Schools’ driver education program.

The dedication event will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 8:30 a.m. at City Mitsubishi on Bridge Avenue in Murfreesboro.

The dealership is gifting a 2024 Outlander Plug-in Hybrid and a 2024 Eclipse Cross. Both will be used in the district’s in-school driver training program, which combines classroom lessons with in-car learning to help develop safer and more aware young drivers.

Students and school leadership are expected to attend the ceremony, along with representatives from City Auto Mitsubishi and Mitsubishi Motors.
