Michigan ended a three-year streak of declining scores on the Scholastic Assessment Test in 2025, according to a Detroit News analysis of results released Wednesday.

Michigan's statewide average combined SAT score for the juniors who took the college entrance exam this past spring was about 9 points higher than last year's score, rising to 954 but remaining lower than the combined average in 2022.
