DISCUSSION: As a cold front pushes through this morning, a few showers will be possible, especially across Deep East Texas. By this afternoon, any lingering rain chances will end and sunshine will return to the area. Breezy northerly winds will be present through the day, potentially gusting over 20 mph at times. Tonight, lows will fall back down into the upper 40s and lower 50s across the area, making for a chilly start to Wednesday. Later this week, rain chances will increase once again, especially late Friday into Saturday. The potential is there for 2-3 inches of much-needed rainfall.
