1MPD releases video as man wounded in Northwest shooting seeks ID of multiple suspects

WASHINGTON, DC – Surveillance video released Thursday shows multiple suspects firing at a man who was struck and wounded the evening of October 24 on 16th Street Northwest, and police are asking the public to help identify those captured on camera.

Third District officers responded to the 3100 block of 16th Street Northwest at approximately 7:26 p.m. after reports of gunfire. When officers arrived they located an adult male conscious and breathing with a gunshot wound; DC Fire and EMS transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim’s injuries were not characterized in the MPD statement.
