A motorcyclist has serious injuries after a crash in Stamford on Thursday night.
Police said a motorcycle and a Mercedes collided on Greenwich Avenue at South State Street around 8:42 p.m.

The 2019 KTM 390 motorcycle was heading north on Greenwich Avenue and collided with a 2019 Mercedes at the South State Street intersection, according to police.
The motorcyclist, a 26-year-old Stamford resident, was thrown from the vehicle and was transported to Stamford Hospital with serious and possibly life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 37-year-old Norwalk resident, was not injured.
Police said the intersection was closed for around three-and-a-half hours.
