A content creator with over 800,000 TikTok followers has been killed just three days after his wedding anniversary.

Michael Duarte, known as FoodwithBearHands, was a chef who's social media bio said 'Cooking, Grilling, BBQ with my Bear Hands'.

The father died on Saturday after being shot by cops who saw a "male subject with a knife acting erratically". Duarte was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Duarte was best known for cooking videos of BBQs and grills, he leaves behind wife Jessica Duarte and 6-year-old daughter Oakley.

A GoFundMe was set up for his family by Nena Petricca of El Cajon, California that has amassed over £65,000 dollars.
