JASPER, Texas — The search intensified Friday for a 96-year-old Jasper man who disappeared after leaving his home on foot Thursday morning.

Federico Camancho was last seen leaving his residence in the 700 block of Hunt Street in Jasper on Nov. 20, according to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office.

Search parties worked through Thursday evening and overnight but have not located Camancho. A drone equipped with "forward looking infrared" thermal imaging technology was deployed during the search efforts.

A human tracking dog team from the Vernon Parish Sheriff's Office has joined the search operation.
