NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) - A police investigation is underway on a street in New Haven.

Officers and police cruiser could be seen along a portion of Congress Avenue near Redfield Street on Thursday morning.

A sidewalk in front of an apartment complex was taped off.

Details about the nature of the investigation were not released.
