LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Everything is coming up roses for 10 Kentucky high school band members. They will be part of the 300-piece national ensemble known as the Bands of America Honor Band and will perform at the 2026 Rose Parade.

Members of the 2026 Honor Band represent schools from across America. Five Kentucky high schools are sending students to perform. The band will come together for the first time on Dec. 27 and will spend a week in Southern California rehearsing, performing at the Tournament of Roses Bandfest, and attending special activities before their featured performance in the Rose Parade on New Year’s Day.

The Kentucky students performing in the parade are:

Harper Hamann, drum major - Paul Laurence Dunbar High School, Lexington

Timothy Li, flute/piccolo - Paul Laurence Dunb
