State pensioners are on course for £363 payments ON TOP of their regular Department for Work and Pensions ( DWP ) cash thanks to an April rule change. Pension Credit will rise to a new level for state pensioners in 2026 and 2027, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has said.

State pensioners who are on the standard minimum guarantee will get £238, while couples get £363. Additional amounts for severe disability will rise to £86 for single and couples where one qualifies, or £172 where both qualify.

Additional amounts for carers will rise to £48, while the savings credit threshold for singletons will rise to £208 and for couples, £329. The maximum will be £17 for singletons and, for couples, £20.
