LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities are warning the public of a dangerous person they believe is involved in an arson at a church in Lake Havasu City on Sunday morning.

At about 1:30 a.m., first responders were called to Calvary Baptist Church near State Route 95, close to Sweetwater Avenue and Baylor Drive , after reports of a burglary and a fire alarm.

When officers arrived, they found an active fire inside the building and signs of a break-in. Once the fire was extinguished, investigators found evidence indicating it was arson, according to a statement from Lake Havasu City.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and identified 49-year-old Keith Gensamer as a person of interest.
