Alaska mom Sandy Snodgrass says justice for her son feels a little closer after watching President Trump sign Bruce’s Law, named in honor of her son, Bruce Snodgrass, who died from fentanyl poisoning in 2021.
“Bruce is not resting in peace. But with the passage of Bruce’s Law, I believe he rests a little easier tonight,” Sandy said.
Snodgrass traveled to the nation’s capital for the bill-signing ceremony and left with a symbol she says she’ll cherish forever.
“This is the pen that he signed the Support Reauthorization Act with. I’m grateful to have it. It’s the token of the event and the token of Bruce’s Law,” she said.
Still, Sandy admits the moment feels surreal.
