ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The body of a 55-year-old man was found by Roanoke Police officers at an apartment Thursday, November 27, 2025.

Officers responded to a report of deceased person in the 800 block of Westside Blvd. NW. around 2:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving, according to police.

Officers say there were no immediate signs of trauma or foul play.

The medical examiner’s office is working to determine the cause and manner of death, RPD says.
