WILLOWICK, Ohio (WOIO) - Willowick police say officers made an arrest Wednesday in an assault and robbery at an apartment building.

Officers say Terrence Michael Gardner, 37, robbed someone Monday at the Willowick Towers on North Marginal Road.

The victim told officers Gardner ran away with a stolen gun following the attack.

Police say a judge issued a warrant for Gardner‘s arrest and he was soon taken into custody.

Officers added he pleaded not guilty to charges of robbery, assault and menacing.

According to police, Gardner was denied bond Thursday during his hearing.

That means he will be locked up in the Lake County Jail until he next appears in court and potentially beyond then.
