Arrest warrant served: East Bridge Street & Riverside Drive

A wanted Parma man, 43, was arrested at about 10:30 a.m. Nov. 27 after police caught him in a Hyundai Elantra that had been reported stolen.

License plate-reading cameras notified police that the Elantra, stolen in Brunswick, was traveling west on Bagley Road and passing Eastland Road.

Police spotted the car heading south on Front Street. They eventually pulled over the car at the East Bridge-Riverside red light.

A Strongsville woman, 36, was driving the Elantra. The Parma man was in the front passenger seat.

Police learned that the man was wanted in Brunswick for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police determined that the Elantra belonged to the Strongsville woman, so they released the car to her.
