Scattered showers continue to move through Mid-MO this afternoon and evening. There will be some dry time before showers redevelop.

Temps will be lower today due to morning rain. Areas that did not get as much rain the morning (like areas south of HWY 50) will be warmer and more humid. The lake may still reach the lower to middle 90s while most of the region, especially north of I-70, will make it to the middle 80s.

Once storms redevelop this afternoon, localized flash flooding is possible as some areas could pick up over an inch of additional rainfall.

Showers and storms will continue overnight into early Thursday morning. Cloud cover will stick around through Thursday and highs will be much cooler. Temps start out in the upper 60s and will only warm to the middle 70s.
