LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a man was shot early Saturday morning in southwest Louisville.

Just before 3:30 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Currington Circle for a reported shooting.

When they got to the scene, they found a man who had been shot multiple times.

He was taken to UofL Hospital with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries.

LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the investigation.

Detectives are working to determine what led to the shooting and a possible motive for it.

Police said they do not have any suspects at this time.
