The president of the National Federation of Cattle Ranchers (Fedenaga), Edgar Medina, guaranteed the country's meat supply.

Medina stated that this sector has always been committed to production and meeting domestic demand for its products. He emphasized that in the first half of 2025, the sector was dedicated to working on growth based on meat production and establishing a standardized price.

He noted that the inputs were purchased at a price different from the BCV dollar, which "has affected both producers and consumers."
