SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Portions of a major Dakota County highway interchange were shut down for four hours Monday after a truck rollover spilled diesel fuel and dry pesticide alongside a highway off ramp.
The flatbed truck carrying jet fuel and pesticides from Tekamah, Nebraska-based crop duster Nebraska-Iowa Helicopter overturned on the northbound U.S. 77 off ramp to westbound U.S. 20 at approximately 7:05 a.m., South Sioux City Fire Chief Doug Koopman.
Cleanup crews remain at the scene, and the ramp is expected to be closed until later this evening.
