OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A man missing from an Omaha corrections facility for over two months has been apprehended.

In a social media post Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office shared an update that Dustin Debusk, 36, was found Wednesday night in Omaha.

The Omaha Police Department assisted DCSO to respond to a home Debusk was believed to be staying at in the area of 77th and Miami streets.

As deputies neared, Debusk fled on foot and a pursuit began. OPD’s Able-1 helicopter was deployed for a “brief foot chase,” the update states.

Debusk was then apprehended without additional incident, DCSO says.

According to authorities, Debusk was a fugitive with an outstanding warrant for felony escape. The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services reported him as missing on June 9.
