NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Tamber Weiersheuser started baking with her grandmother in Iowa.
Back then, it was Christmas cookies.
"It all started with the sleep overs at my grandmas house being in the kitchen and testing recipe and not all of them coming out the way we hoped for," said Weiersheuser.
Now her menu is a little bigger because she is Executive Pastry Chef at Restaurant August in New Orleans.

As a pastry chef, Weiersheuser has been on the road at restaurants from Las Vegas to New York and from Miami to Los Angeles.
