REPUBLIC, Mo. (KY3) - The annual “Got Mud?” Run is back, and roughly 900 people are participating this year.

There are 7 races on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. The two mile course features 23 obstacles through the mud, designed to test your agility and tolerance fore getting dirty.

Ashley Luebbert, special events coordinator of the City of Republic, says the event is the only one of it’s kind in the Ozarks.

“It’s not every day you get to go climb in this mud pit, crawl under and over ropes, or play Wipe Out,” Luebbert said. “It’s like the show Wipe out. You go around all these obstacles on wooden beams. It’s just not every day that you could do get to do something that’s cool like this.”
