DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- The numbers are staggering: 80 percent of girls wish they could do something to change the way their body looks.
The Girl Scouts are combatting this "crisis of confidence" by attempting to change the way girls feel about their bodies.
"What we want to focus on is what their body can do and how it powers the greatness within them," said Aimee Sproles, president and CEO of Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.
That's the goal of a new badge available for Girl Scouts to earn: Helping them appreciate their bodies and all they can do.
