The rest of the day will be warm and pleasant with temperatures near 80. Tonight will be clear and cool. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s. Patchy fog will be possible as we head into Tuesday morning.
An area of high pressure will remain overhead for most of the upcoming week with little to no rain in sight. Temperatures remain near 80 degrees with overnight lows in the 50s and 60s.
The drought report shows that a large portion of our area is in a moderate to severe drought. With little to no rain in the forecast through next week, this will likely expand. Year to date rainfall deficits are approaching if not exceeding 10 to 15 inches across part of our area.
