The holiday season is in full swing in Columbia.
There's plenty to see and do in December, and among the first is the annual Living Windows Festival starting at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in downtown Columbia.
"Thousands of people come through our small businesses downtown, which create these stunning windows with anything from performances, puppies and kittens, to bringing fire trucks down for kids to walk through," said Nickie Davis, Downtown Community Improvement District executive director.
She encouraged people to arrive early to find a place to park and enjoy a meal at one of the downtown restaurants or other eateries before the festivities fully kick off.
"Make it a tradition. This has been going on for more than 20 years," Davis said. Need a news break? Check out the all new PLAY hub wit
