WATERFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Police have arrested a man in connection to an incident in Waterford back in January of this year.
At around 9:47 a.m. officers were called to Charter Oak Federal Credit Union located on Boston Post Road after a report of an armed robbery, the police department said in a press release in January.
When crews arrived, they secured the scene and there was a K9 track for two suspects that fled on foot towards the Beckwith Street neighborhood.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
Officials have now identified one of the suspects as 36-year-old Michael Drayton.
Following a months-long investigation, an arrest warrant was approved for Drayton and he was taken into custody with the help of New London police officers.
