KENTWOOD, Mich. — Two young men were arrested after a shots-fired incident in Kentwood Tuesday night, the police department says.
Officers got a call about gunshots near 60th Street and Kalamazoo Avenue around 7 p.m.
An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were seen walking nearby. Police say the two matched the suspect description.
Officers took both into custody on charges related to the shots fired. Police say they had a stolen firearm and an unregistered firearm with them.
Police say there is no threat to the public at this time.
