COMSTOCK PARK, Michigan — A Newaygo County man took home a big prize after a lucky lottery drawing.

The 29-year-old winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased his ticket at Party World, located at 5568 Alpine Avenue Northwest in Comstock Park. His winning number, 049686, was from the Nov. 19 drawing.

The player said he was drawn to the Super Raffle game because of its favorable odds and had been encouraging friends and family to play.

"I drove by Party World, which advertises as the luckiest store in Michigan, so I stopped in to buy a Super Raffle ticket," he said.

He learned of his win when his wife called him in tears.

"I didn't believe her, so she sent me a picture of the ticket, and I checked it myself," he said. "When I saw I really did win $1 million, my heart started poun
