A man who survived the Manchester synagogue terrorist attack after he was shot by police has said God chose to save him on the day.
Yoni Finlay was hit by a police bullet at Heaton Park Hebrew Synagogue in Crumpsall, north Manchester, on October 2 as armed officers shot Jihad Al-Shamie dead.
Syrian-born Al-Shamie, 35, got out of a car outside the synagogue with a knife and stabbed worshipper Melvin Cravitz, 66. He sadly died later in hospital.
Adrian Daulby, 53, also lost his life in the attack. Mr Daulby was inside the synagogue and held its doors shut, with others, 'for two minutes' as Al-Shamie tried to get inside, a coroner's court was told as inquests into their deaths were opened and adjourned later in October.
