HARWINTON, Conn. (WFSB) - Emergency crews responded to a fire in Harwinton on Saturday.
At around 6:15 p.m. firefighters were called to the area of Hill Road after a report of house fire, the volunteer fire department said.
When crews arrived, they found a fire coming from the attic space and second floor of the residence.
Officials said the both sustained heavy damage and is not habitable.
The road was closed as crews worked on scene but it has since reopened.
This incident remains under investigation at this time.
No further details were released.
